Changelog

What shipped.

Product updates in order, newest first. Short on purpose: only things that are live are listed here, and anything still planned is named as planned on the page it belongs to.

How this log works

This log is short because it only lists things that shipped. Entries are dated by month, not by day, and carry no version numbers: the product is deployed continuously, so a version string would be decoration. We do not backdate entries, and we do not list work that is still planned. Anything planned is named as planned on the page it belongs to.

AI Growth OS, first release

The measurement loop went live as one product: ask the buyer questions, read the answers, explain the losses, turn each gap into an action a person approves, then re-ask the questions after the work is published.

  • Buyer questions asked across the connected AI systems, grouped by intent, with mention, recommendation, position and cited sources recorded per answer.
  • Competitor view: share of voice, the questions you lose, the sources behind those wins, the claims you are missing, and competitors found inside your own answers.
  • Brand Brain: your stated facts checked against what engines say, with flags, entities, claims and the sources shaping the answers.
  • AI Readiness site audit covering robots.txt, llms.txt, sitemap, structured data and whether pages answer the question they target.
  • Opportunity Engine: every gap becomes one action scored on impact, confidence, effort and urgency, to approve, postpone or reject.
  • Five drafting agents: Content Optimizer, Entity Builder, Citation Outreach, Competitor Monitor and FAQ Builder. They draft; they never publish.
  • Content Workspace with brief, draft, review, published and measured states, versions, and the evidence each draft was written from.
  • Measurement: publishing an asset marks its action done and re-asks that action's questions about a week later, with the before and after side by side.
  • Reports with CSV export and print to PDF, optional GA4 connection for AI-referred sessions and revenue, scheduled refresh by plan, and a free baseline that starts by itself at signup.

The report the product was built out of

The AI visibility report was prepared by hand long before any of it was software: a researcher agreed the questions, ran them, and wrote up what the assistants said. That work is still offered, and its method is published. We are not dating those runs here, because they were delivered per client rather than released.

What these results are, and are not

Everything the product reports is a snapshot of the questions and engines that were tested, on the day they ran. AI answers change between runs, accounts and regions, so results vary and nothing here is a ranking. We do not guarantee that any engine will mention, recommend, cite or include you.

ModernTechLap measures and influences the evidence around a business; it does not control AI model outputs.

Common questions

Why are there no version numbers?
The product is deployed continuously, so there is no release to attach a number to. A version string on this page would look precise without meaning anything, which is the opposite of what a changelog is for.
Why are the entries dated by month?
Because a month is what we can stand behind. A day-level date implies a record of when each change reached customers, and we would rather publish the coarser date that is true than the precise one that is decoration.
